I’ve been dying to show you this gorgeous adventure session! When mom told me that she loves Swiss Family Robinson and that she was serious when she said she didn’t mind the kids getting wet, I knew that we were kindred spirits and that this would be an amazing adventure session together!

All of my Portrait Collections now include an Heirloom Story Book because I believe that these chapters in our lives should be reopened and relived often! This year I made it a priority to educate myself and my clients about the value and power of the printed portrait. I’ve seen a shift in the way that clients think about and talk about their family portraits. More and more of you desire to print and display them in your homes!

Heirloom Photographs

My grandmother’s closets were filled with beautiful dresses and even in my late 30s I couldn’t help but pull on her long gowns and twirl around in front of her bedroom mirror. My mom offered a few of them to me after she passed and we got to talking about how wonderful it would be to have photographs of grandmom looking all polished and elegant in these gowns. Did the shiny silver belt go with this dress or that dress? Where did she wear this? Who was she with? Several months later mom handed me a photograph of grandmom wearing the gray and white gown that I thought would make the perfect Christmas dress for me this year.
