Women come to the Secret Garden to find space for healing, self discovery and creative expression. In this peaceful sanctuary, we use soul-nurturing experiences like art, ritual, storytelling and nature as portals to your transformation. Here you will find a nurturing community where women realize they’re not alone in their struggles or their joys. You may arrive as a stranger but you’ll leave feeling the support of this community.
Events are intentionally kept small to create a more personalized experience and foster authentic community.

A Garden Picnic & Portrait Experience for Breastfeeding Mothers
With VillaVerde Ventures & Taproot Photography
In honor of National Breastfeeding Month, we wanted to invite breastfeeding mothers and their babies for an evening in a secret garden.
This is an evening for community, nourishment, and finally getting the "proof of mom" photos. We wanted to create a space where you can enjoy a meal you didn't have to make, nurse your baby wherever you feel comfortable, and spend time with other moms who are in the same season of life.
We'll be serving some of our VillaVerde favorites throughout the evening, including Five-Spice Chicken Skewers with Roasted Plum Sauce, Pad Kra Pao Meatballs, Black Sesame Banana Bread, handcrafted beverages, and a few other seasonal favorites.
Kate with Taproot Photography will be capturing the afternoon as it unfolds, documenting the candid moments between you and your baby while also setting aside time for a brief portrait session with each mother. Every attendee will receive three professionally edited photographs to remember this season.
We hope that you leave feeling nourished, seen, and connected. We cannot wait to host you and your baby in this magical space.
