  • Taproot Photography respects your right to use whatever products you would like during your birth. However, in order for your Photographer to perform at her highest ability you and anyone in the birthing room are asked to refrain from using any essential oils, perfumes or scented products before, during and after your birth. These pose a health risk to your Photographer and may cause poor performance or the inability to continue photographing your birth story.

  • The Photographer is committed to maintaining a sacred and undisturbed place for the Client to give birth. The Client understands that low light photography such as the photography preformed in the birthing room will naturally exhibit image grain or motion blur. • If the Photographer cannot perform this Agreement due to a fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, equipment failure or other cause beyond the control of the parties (other than stated in this contract above), or due to Photographer’s illness (other than illness caused by scented products), then the Photographer shall offer the Client a credit in the exact dollar amount already paid by the Client to be used for a Portrait Collection in the future. The Photographer shall not have any further liability with respect to the Agreement.
